Nová finálka pro Edge 540, 840, 1040 a 1050: Hromada oprav a pár nových, ale drobných funkcí

Při používání a testování cyklonavigací Edge 1040 a Edge 1050 jsem si užil už dost přešlapů. Edge 1050 se mi v počátcích často restartoval a nakonec jsem ji musel letos reklamovat, protože se z ní prostě stala černá cihlička. Edge 1040 jsem sice nereklamoval, ale při testech beta firmwarů se běžně tak zpomalí, že se skoro nedá používat. Třeba na otočení mapy při jízdě čekám i přes pět sekund.

V poslední finálce, která vyšla v únoru, jsme dostali možnost přidat kompas a mapu jako datové pole, což je nadmíru užitečná funkce. V poslední verzi, 27.13 pro Edge x40 a 13.13 pro Edge 1050, jsme sice žádnou zásadní novinku nezískali, ale zase tu máme opravu řady chyb a vylepšenou podporu pro nové světlo Varia Vue. A hlavně je to finálka, takže můj Edge 1040 je zase krásně svižný. Aktuálně si u obou zařízení už v podstatě nemám nač stěžovat. Snad jen u další generace bych ocenil svítilnu LED, jako mají hodinky.
